PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT

Curator & Collections Manager – August 2018 – present – John Wesley Powell River History Museum (Green River, UT)

I am solely responsible for the cataloging and preventative conservation of all objects, photos, and archival materials in the museum’s care. I manage and design all exhibits in the museum and facilitate research. As one of only three full-time staff members at the museum, I also assist with the museum store, event planning, community outreach, social media, facilities management, grant writing, and strategic planning.

Leasing Agent / Office Assistant – October 2015 – August 2018 – Cobblecreek Apartments (Chico, CA)

Employment responsibilities included opening and closing the office, phone and email correspondence with current and prospective tenants, leading apartment tours, accepting rent payments, light cleaning, appointment scheduling, processing applications, and overseeing lease signings.

Front Office Manager –  September 2014 – April 2015 – Ames Seminars (Lafayette, CA)

I acted as the liaison and main point of contact for staff, tutors, teachers, students, and parents. I also maintained and restocked the front desk areas and classrooms. Employment responsibilities included: opening and closing the office; heavy phone and email correspondence with clients; registration of clients for various classes, events, and workshops; scheduling of tutoring appointments; making the daily classroom schedules; invoicing clients, processing payments, and arranging payment plans; preparing bank deposits; processing incoming and outgoing mail; and maintaining a filing system for invoices and other paperwork.
